Production Technician

Job Purpose

The Production Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes. This role involves following standard operating procedures (SOPs), performing quality checks, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate production equipment efficiently while adhering to process guidelines.
2. Monitor production parameters, adjust settings, and report deviations to maintain product quality.
3. Perform in-process inspections and report defects to ensure compliance with quality standards.
4. Identify and resolve minor machine or process issues to minimize downtime.
5. Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and report unsafe conditions.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.
7. Ensure proper usage of raw materials and assist in inventory management.
8. Maintain accurate production logs, downtime reports, and shift handover notes.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
3. Good English language skills.
