Production Manager - (Continuous Forms and Computer Forms)

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule and adjusting it as needed.
2. Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
3. Working out the human and material resources needed.
4. Drafting a timescale for the job.
5. Liaising among different departments, e.g., suppliers, managers.
6. Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
7. Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
8. Supervising and motivating a team of workers.
9. Reviewing operations and conferring with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
10. Developing and implementing production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems.
11. Preparing and maintaining production reports and personnel records.
12. Setting and monitoring product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
13. Reviewing plans and conferring to develop new products and processes.
14. Coordinating and recommending procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
15. Ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently and cost-effectively to meet production targets.
16. Reviewing processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Arabic - Native / Mother Tongue
2. English - Fluent / Excellent
3. Own a Car: Any
4. Have Driving License: Yes

Job Skills:

1. Minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on shop floor experience in a similar manufacturing industry with at least 5 years of supervision experience.
2. Familiar with packaging & printing raw materials and their corresponding usage.
3. Experience in logistics / warehousing and material handling system is a plus.
4. Experience in quality control is a plus.
5. Experience to be a part of previous machine installation / commissioning will be a plus.
6. Familiar with all units and conversions for packaging & printing.
7. Conversant with ERP systems.
8. Familiarity with production planning and material handling.
9. Excellent analytical abilities.
10. Proficient in MS Office applications.
