Responsibilities
- PRODUCTION SCHEDULE COMPLIANCE - to take full responsibility for achievement of the production plan.
- PLANT PERFORMANCE - to maximize performance via measurement, monitoring & analysis of plant information including wastage, efficiencies (Material including Basic, Seas, Film, oil) & TENE, Labour utilization, Food Safety and occupational health & safety.
- QUALITY - to take full responsibility for the quality of the product produced within the designated area through management & compliance with quality systems. (Weak Link, & Quality Walls).
- MANAGE COSTS - to take full responsibility for decisions around budgetary control and conversion costs in designated area.
- CULTURE DEVELOPMENT - to facilitate the development of an open culture of pro-activity.
- PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT - to be responsible for people management activities, including absence management, performance reviews and discipline. To determine and ensure the achievement of the skills and training requirements of the team.
- HEALTH AND SAFETY - to contribute towards maintaining health and safety standards and to carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- INNOVATION / IMPROVEMENT - to promote the CIC Programme as part of the team to proactively seek new & improved methods of working.
- DVC / MES - Fully conversant with DVC (Digital Value Chain) components (DQ, DU, Waste Management, Palletizers, KPIs) and ensure the team utilizes the system to get KPI progress reports. Own the change management from manual to digitization.
- PROBLEM SOLVING - to develop problem solving & troubleshooting skills to ensure that all team members can identify root causes & take fast and effective responses to problems.
- TEAM-WORKING - To work collaboratively with other managers in undertaking these responsibilities.
- GCS & COSO - Standard owner and execute GCS & COSO in production.
- To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the EHS Management System (MS) at the area of responsibility in accordance with the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and EHS targets are achieved.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Mechanical or Industrial preferred) with a minimum of 3 years experience or equivalent.
- Proven Admin/Technical & Human Relations skills.
- Good communication skills.
- 3-4 years of manufacturing management experience.
