Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Product Specialist to be located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Summary of the Job:
The main task of a Product Specialist is to represent Johnson & Johnson in front of healthcare professionals, ensuring our products are used based on their own merit and according to their clinical indications, while respecting all J&J Credo obligations. The Product Specialist promotes registered Johnson & Johnson products within registered indications to increase access in collaboration with other functions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maximize Patient share of assigned products by understanding the patient pathway, ensuring sales are maximized, and all processes respect J&J compliance, quality guidelines, and local laws.
This Is Achieved Through:
- A multichannel approach to reach out to HCPs (face-to-face, email, phone calls, presentations) with the set quality and quantity according to CVT strategy.
- Achieving market share target for the assigned territory.
- Promoting Johnson & Johnson's image as a scientific transformational digital innovator within assigned accounts and organizing promotional/digital scientific meetings.
Maximizing Johnson & Johnson's Access Reach Through:
- Full account mapping, understanding logistical processes, product listing processes, contracting, stakeholders, and decision-making processes.
- Developing and maintaining long-term engagements with customers/stakeholders within the accounts (e.g., Directors of Pharmacy, Senior Procurement Managers, Tender Managers, and Hospital Management).
- Identifying short and long-term business opportunities according to the Business Unit strategy in collaboration with the Market Access team.
Ensuring Execution Excellence Through:
Fulfilling all Customer Interaction Excellence (CIE) index and KPIs within agreed timelines, including updating the database, accurate reporting of visits to HCPs, and continuous improvement of qualitative performance.
Maintaining Updated Knowledge of Disease Areas, Products, and Competitors Through:
- Achieving results in scientific quizzes organized by CVT according to the manager’s expectations.
- Attending all assigned training courses and capturing learnings to show improvement in technical and ethical business practices.
- Organizing assigned activities while respecting all compliance rules and using the correct CRM system as stipulated in related SOP.
Compliance with Set Guidelines, Policies, and SOPs of J&J and Local Regulation Includes:
- Local laws & HCBI guidelines, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Policy of business conduct, and other J&J policies.
- Pharmacovigilance rules notifying within company regulations about Adverse Events & Product Quality Complaints.
- Quality and compliance practices.
- Global fleet safety standard requirements and local traffic laws.
Main Performance Measures (Performance Goals):
- Self-discipline, result-oriented.
- Demonstrating leadership and Credo imperatives competence.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of medical sciences background (Medical, Dentistry, Veterinary, Pharmacy).
- Pharmaceutical experience in a multinational company.
- Experience within the Hematology therapeutic area.
- Digital knowledge is an advantage.
- Language: Fluency in English.
