Position: Product Detailer
Location: Saudi Arabia – Dammam

The Technical Office Officer (Product Detailer) is responsible for preparing and detailing technical drawings, production files, and specifications for kitchen furniture and aluminum components. The role involves creating precise CAD and 360 CAD drawings, ensuring designs align with production capabilities, material constraints, and quality standards. The officer will work closely with the design, production, and supply chain teams to streamline manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Drawings & Documentation:
- Develop detailed CAD and 360 CAD drawings for kitchen wooden and aluminum components, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.
- Generate shop drawings, cutting lists, and assembly guides for production.
- Prepare exploded views and technical documentation for fabrication and installation teams.
2. Production Coordination:
- Ensure drawings are compatible with available machinery and production processes.
- Collaborate with the CNC programming team to ensure proper file conversions for machine operations.
- Provide technical support to the production team and address any drawing-related issues on the factory floor.
3. Quality & Material Optimization:
- Verify that design specifications comply with material properties, optimizing raw material usage to reduce waste.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to align technical details with available materials and stock.
- Identify potential design modifications to enhance durability and cost-effectiveness.
4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Production team to translate conceptual designs into production-ready technical files.
- Support the installation and after-sales teams by providing detailed assembly instructions and resolving technical inquiries.
- Communicate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability based on production plans.
5. Process Improvement & Standardization:
- Develop technical templates and standards to improve efficiency in detailing and production.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality policies.
- Identify process bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance workflow and reduce production lead times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the kitchen furniture, woodworking, or aluminum fabrication industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, 360 CAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of kitchen cabinetry detailing, joinery techniques, and aluminum frame systems.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machine compatibility.
- Experience in creating technical drawings, cutting lists, and bill of materials (BOM).
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical thinking and process optimization mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with parametric design software for customized kitchen detailing.
- Knowledge of ERP systems related to production and inventory management.
