Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for implementing procurement requests by meeting with suppliers and negotiating contracts, as well as evaluating suppliers in order to ensure Tibah obtains qualified suppliers to provide high quality products at competitive prices.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct appropriate vendor registration and pre-qualification checks in alignment with the process and requirements.
  2. Conduct specific market sweep to define, recommend and appropriate list of vendors that will meet the requirements of the procurement or contracting request.
  3. Identify and report all deviations from procurement plans to implement the corrective actions in conjunction with concerned departments.
  4. Implement end-to-end procurement operations including the preparation, issuance, and processing of POs, RFQs, and other related documents to ensure that the product is delivered to the purchaser in the required time and quality within the approved budget.
  5. Evaluate the performance of approved suppliers to ensure that the supplier’s performance matches financially and technically with what is specified in the purchase order to ensure the proper implementation of the assigned work.
  6. Prepare reports that include the performance of all suppliers that have been evaluated, in addition to mention the proposed recommendations in order to avoid risks and ensure the quality of implementation.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply chain Management or any related degree
  • Language: English & Arabic
  • Computer Skills: MS Office & Oracle system
  • Experience: 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a similar role, preferably in the same industry
