Position Description

Job Title: Process Engineer (Performance Testing) - Power Generation Unit M/F

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract

Contractual Hours: Full time

Contract Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Job Description:
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Saudi Limited.

Purpose of this Role: Prepare procedure for conducting Performance Testing of assigned units. Lead & conduct performance test of assigned units.

Main Duties:

1. Responsible for preparing performance test procedures for Power Generation units and auxiliaries.
2. Conduct performance test of Power generation unit & auxiliaries.
3. Lead Performance testing team during performance test.
4. Coordinate across a multi-functional team and ensure focus on Safety, Health and Environment, and operations.
5. Monitor daily operations and work-over activities to ensure suitable completion practices are adopted.
6. Monitor production performance, diagnose any anomalies and recommend engineering solutions.

Profile:

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Minimum experience of 10 years.
2. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
3. Minimum 3 years of Performance Testing experience.
4. Experience with Power Generation units/Large gas-fired power plants.
5. Experienced in Performance Test execution and approaches.
6. Experience in developing/preparing procedures for performance testing.
7. Extensive experience in conducting performance tests.
