Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Process Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work on one of the fastest growing projects in the kingdom.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
2. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste, and increase efficiency.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies, and equipment.
4. Monitor and analyze process data, identify trends, and propose solutions for continuous process improvement.
5. Perform process capability studies, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets.
6. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
7. Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
8. Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
9. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
10. Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rate, and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
11. Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
12. Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
13. Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
14. Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
15. Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
16. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial, or similar).
2. 5+ years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis.
4. Proficient in process analysis, process modeling, statistical analysis, and simulation software.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
6. Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

1. Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping.
2. Master’s degree in process engineering or a related field.
3. Professional certification in process engineering or related areas.
4. Experience and knowledge of alkaline water electrolysis.
5. Experience with process automation and control systems.
6. Knowledge of automation and control systems, such as SCADA and PLC.
7. Knowledge of process simulation software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
8. Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards.
