Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement automation solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, including robotics, conveyor systems, and other automated equipment.
Design and program control systems, including PLCs and SCADA systems, to manage and optimize manufacturing processes.
Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement automation strategies to streamline operations.
Conduct process simulations and tests to validate automation solutions and ensure they meet production requirements.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of automation equipment to ensure consistent performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems, coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams as needed.
Lead projects related to the implementation and upgrade of automation systems, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and engineering, to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in automation processes.
Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for automation and process control.
Ensure that all automation systems and processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols related to automation equipment and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering and automation within the automobile manufacturing industry.
Proven experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation equipment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and control systems.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to automation, such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required.
