What you’ll achieve

As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will take the technical lead during pre-sales engagement, using a consultative approach towards the customer to fully understand their overall business goals. From there, you will translate the client’s business requirements into specific systems or applications for complex technology solutions by focusing on Statements of Work (SOW) creation and review, effort estimation and transition of work to the delivery organization.

You will:

1. Support highly complex accounts and steer the pre-sales qualification process, delivering the architectural design, strategy and plan.
2. Develop and cultivate strong customer relationships; manage solution development (sometimes using expertise from other disciplines) including solution design, scope documents, risk profile, and financials.
3. Guide project quality assurance activities and possibly supervise staff on large projects where a high number of technical staff are involved, including training or on-the-job mentoring.
4. Have deep, extensive knowledge of Dell Technologies products, integration capabilities and related environments, keeping up to date with the latest industry developments. Contribute to business results through quality of solution, advice and decisions.
5. Contribute to the preparation of multiple white papers.

1. 6 to 12 years of related experience in a technical role with knowledge across Multi Cloud solutions, Data Center, Virtualization, Infrastructure and AI solutions.
2. Strong writing skills and demonstrated ability to document processes for the customer.
3. Strong customer communication skills. Proven experience in client facing roles and effectively influencing at all levels (up to CxO) with ability to construct, tailor, and negotiate service contracts (e.g. Statements of Work) for both customer engagement and partner provisioning.
4. Knowledge, understanding and application of Project Management concepts and methodologies.
5. Working knowledge of Dell and VMware product portfolio. Understanding of Enterprise Infrastructure, cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
