Job description

The Pricing Strategy Lead will develop and execute pricing strategies that position SAB Express competitively within the KSA market. This role is key to driving revenue growth, optimizing profitability, and providing the commercial team with data-driven insights to attract and retain clients. The ideal candidate will blend analytical expertise with strategic insight to SAB Express's transition to a leading logistics brand in KSA.

Pricing Strategy Development

  • Design competitive pricing models and rate structures tailored to client segments, ensuring profitability while meeting market demands.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on changing market conditions, competitor pricing, and client feedback.
  • Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to provide custom pricing solutions for high-value clients and unique service requirements.

Market Analysis and Insights

  • Conduct regular market research to understand trends, client expectations, and competitor pricing.
  • Identify opportunities for SAB Express to differentiate its offerings through value-added services or flexible pricing structures.
  • Analyze historical pricing data, market forecasts, and client demographics to inform strategic decisions.

Performance Optimization

  • Track pricing effectiveness and profitability, making data-backed recommendations to improve revenue generation and cost efficiency.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly pricing reports with insights on revenue performance, margin health, and market competitiveness.
  • Identify areas where strategic adjustments can be made to maximize SAB Express’s market share and profitability.

Strategic Support for Sales and Commercial Initiatives

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop proposals and presentations that demonstrate SAB Express’s value proposition in the KSA market.
  • Support the commercial team by designing targeted campaigns and pricing promotions to attract and retain key clients.
  • Assist in the development of long-term strategies aligned with SAB Express’s growth goals, ensuring that pricing aligns with brand positioning and market conditions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA desirable).

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3 Years experience in pricing strategy, financial analysis, or business strategy, in the KSA CEP sector.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in data analysis tools and Excel.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work cross-functionally and support client-facing teams.
  • Communication capability at a senior level, both internally and externally.
  • MS Excel and database skills are essential to succeed in this job.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Value Based Management principles, financial reporting, activity-based costing.
  • Fluent use of written and spoken English.
