Preschool Class Teacher- Arabic Speaking

Our client is seeking a highly skilled, visionary, and dynamic Preschool Class Teacher to lead their Arabic Speaking.

This role is ideal for a passionate Preschool Class Teacher profession who will be responsible for taking care of a class of young children and facilitating small group experiences within an inquiry, play-based context in the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Respect and value each child's social, cultural and religious background and by example, provide mutual respect and tolerance within our school community.
• Share in the management of pastoral care, health, welfare and behaviour of all pupils and in particular, those within your designated class group.
• Undertake the teaching of a class in accordance with the school's agreed policies and guidelines.
• Use a variety of appropriate teaching and caring methods to ensure high quality learning takes place.
• Provide planning documents identifying specific learning objectives, differentiated tasks, special needs, extension and assessment, to the Principal or other allocated staff member.
• Maintain professional dialogue with colleagues concerning the children, other colleagues and the school. Treat all information with confidentiality.
• Plan engaging circle time experiences and small group experiences in Arabic within an inquiry, play-based context.
• Document children's learning through contributions towards newsletters, class panels and children's portfolios in Arabic.
• Create meaningful language opportunities for children where a love for Arabic can be promoted.
• Create an interesting and lively classroom which promotes independent learning.
• Build positive relationships with parents and members of the whole school community.
• Celebrate, support planning and collaboration for meaningful cultural experiences relevant to different Arabic Cultures such as Eid, Ramadan, incorporating Customs and local culture.
• Build and maintain close partnership with parents and communicate in the Arabic Language to support communication alongside the Core Teacher regarding the needs, care and learning of our students and school community.
• Be open to supporting school committees and participating in ongoing professional development.
• Induction and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education in Teaching (Arabic language) or its equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in pre-school or childcare setting is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team.
• A high level of written and spoken Arabic is required.
• Fluency of the English language in an English language working environment.
