Plant Operations Manager

Aqualia is the fourth largest water company in Europe in terms of population served and the ninth largest in the world. We currently provide service to 45.2 million users in 18 countries, managing the complete water cycle, from the collection, purification and treatment of water collected from the natural environment, to its distribution and the collection of used water for its subsequent treatment and return to the environment from which it was obtained in optimal conditions that do not harm the environment.

We are looking for a candidate with experience as Plant Manager responsible for the RO plant overall operation and maintenance reporting to General Manager.

Required experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in the same field, 5 of them as a plant manager.

The functions to be performed will be the following:

1. Responsible for the plant operation and maintenance.
2. Responsible to keep the integrity of RO plant equipment including auxiliaries.
3. Responsible for water quality.
4. Responsible for safety of equipment and personnel.
5. Responsible to adopt new technologies in case of need.
6. Responsible for applying the policies and regulations of the company.
7. Sets plans, directs and fulfills work targets.
8. Ensures efficient use of resources; manpower and equipment.
9. Prepares monthly report of operation / maintenance / distribution.
10. Studies / analyzes recommended modifications / revisions.
11. Prepares annual budget.
12. Approves purchase requisitions.
13. Maintain client relationships.

Requirements:

1. Required degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
2. Specific knowledge and skills: CAD dwg, other latest versions of application related. All O&M activities, electromechanical background, chemical background, smooth handling with the client.
3. Languages: English fluent required. Extra other languages preferred.
4. Located in Yanbu, Medina, Arabia Saudí.
