Job Description
Preparation / updating / Revision of Baseline programs in Primavera P6.
Maintain Schedule Control Procedure.
Review and monitor the Project Execution Plan.
Review and monitor physical progress at Site and compare that with schedules.
Review and verify the progress measurement claimed by the Contractor with the actual physical progress at Site for invoicing purpose.
Development of tender programs during bidding phases.
Review of Resident engineer’s weekly reports.
Generating executive summary reports for higher management.
Assist Supervisors and engineers in delay impact analysis and EOT requests.
Follow up of issues impacting the project schedule.
Maintaining a database of project progress.
Generating look ahead programs for the Resident engineer’s.
Monitoring progress & efficiency of each project and reporting to supervisors and managers.
Critically analyzing projects and raising flags in case of slippage and identification of mitigation measures.
Preparation of recovery plans.
Preparation of project progress monitoring charts for graphical visualization of projects.
Assisting supervisors and managers for board presentations and meetings.
Assisting team and managers as needed.
Weekly/Monthly progress report preparation.
Qualifications
You are a developed construction specialist, who has experience in different domains (building, civil works, marine works) and aspects (design, tender, site office) of construction.
You have a flexible personality, who looks critically at your own working area and continuously seeks ways to improve.
You challenge the prevailing assumptions within your working area and propose effective ideas for improvement of existing processes within the Company.
You are an excellent communicator, capable of explaining and reporting clearly to project and operational management and to the client.
You can work efficiently and autonomously on larger projects where your knowledge is required, ensuring a high return on investment and added value service.
You demonstrate willingness and ability to learn quickly and to work independently in a stressful work environment.
Profile
You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Heavy Civil and Marine Construction.
You have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in massive/huge projects and in the field of planning.
You have a very good knowledge/use of Primavera P6.
You have a very good knowledge of the MS Office package.
You can review and extract information from drawings using AutoCAD (preferable).
Good knowledge of Tilos (preferable but not necessary).
You are fluent in English.
You are ready to travel abroad.
