Planning Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Planner (P6) with valid IQAMA to be able to start on short term. Project related to Renewable Generation, Power Utilities and Water Systems for an ultra-luxury tourism destination in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a positive work culture at all times, focused on best-in-class services.
2. Develop a detailed understanding of the Project Scope of Work and contract requirements.
3. Understand, develop and update Project Controls plans and procedures as required.
4. Manage Project Controls for the project.
5. Oversee preparation and approval of baseline schedule to include full scope of contract.
6. Ensure baseline schedule is loaded with resources or other non-labour units to allow earned value measurement.
7. Manage weekly or monthly updates of schedule as required.
8. Monitor changes to project schedule in order to assess the effects on costs and project efficiency.
9. Oversee the tracking of actual progress versus planned progress and report all delays.
10. Advise Project Site Manager on cost concerns.
11. Ensure the efficient monitoring of project cash flow and consumption of resources.
12. Generate Project Progress S-Curves based on approved schedule.
13. Ensure issuance of the Project Daily, Weekly and Monthly Project Execution Reports as required, including forecasts.
14. Keep a weekly logbook with all relevant information regarding problems, work tasks, improvements, contractor behavior, schedule delays, working time, etc. (active support in order to avoid claims)
15. Provide weekly and monthly management reports.
