Planning Engineer

Required for construction company at Dammam KSA
Planner (Planning Engineer)

Demonstrate a high level of skill in planning Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management using computer-based planning and scheduling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in coordination with the Project Manager.
2. Develop detailed schedules with resource/cost loading at the activity level within assigned budget constraints.
3. Progress Monitoring and Controlling.
4. Prepare Cost S-Curves & Manpower Histogram.
5. Preparation of Look Ahead based on baseline and physical condition.
6. Establish and agree on the level of reporting required by the project and ensure that responsibilities are defined, all reports are correct and issued in a timely manner.
7. Responsible for presentation to show the project progress, status, and project-related issues and risks.
8. Preparing Recovery Schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
2. 5 - 10 years’ experience in Project Planning/Scheduling.
3. Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software operating expertise.
4. Familiarity with various software used in Project Controls, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Demonstrate singular major project planning skills.
6. Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge approach to Project Management techniques.
7. Proven ability to negotiate, mediate, and delegate as well as lead a team or participate as a team member.
8. Understand and apply the HSE procedures.
9. Understand and apply the procedures forming the Quality Management System.

Language Requirements:

1. Arabic - Native / Mother Tongue
2. English - Good
