Industry Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders.

Partner with the best
As a Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and scheduling material/production, assuring that the shop has the necessary materials, documentation, and tooling/equipment to meet required manufacturing/production levels.
- Coordinating material input/output, managing material shortages, managing material for farm out.
- Identifying and reacting to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.
- Providing effective scheduling and implementation of all programs based on the Master Schedule, cycle time, shop capacity, hardware/tooling availability, and status to schedules.
- Monitoring supply and demand misalignment using planning system, and collaborating with manufacturing sources to implement corrective action plans.
- Coordinating the efforts of cross-functional groups to resolve bottlenecks, parts shortages, manpower issues, and shop capacity.
- Analyzing and measuring the current production status and identify problem areas that inhibit full schedule realization.
- Maintaining the integrity of the MRP system.
- Updating project team with delivery dates for open orders.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Have experience in production planning.
- Have hands-on experience using Oracle, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
- Exhibit tactical execution with a sense of urgency.
Desired Characteristics:
- Have APICS Certification.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
