Job Description :
Responsible for planning and executing piping projects while ensuring quality and productivity. They manage construction activities, maintain high standards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Some of their responsibilities include:

1. Planning: Planning and executing piping projects
2. Quality: Ensuring quality standards are maintained
3. Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
4. Construction: Managing and coordinating construction activities
5. Documentation: Creating up-to-date guidelines and supervision for incoming piping documents
6. Drawings: Creating as-built drawings and mark-ups on modified lines
7. Tool box talks: Conducting a daily tool box talk with workers before they start work
8. Testing: Planning, executing, controlling, and supervising activities such as pneumatic testing, hydro testing, watering, dewatering, pressurizing, and depressurizing

Minimum Requirements:
Some requirements for a pipe supervisor role include:

1. A diploma in a mechanically-related field or a high school diploma with completed, related trade courses
2. Familiarity with mechanical systems, piping systems, and related equipment
3. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications
4. A strong understanding of safety procedures
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and project management software
