• Generation of piping / pipeline deliverables, including production, checking and approval as required to meet stated project requirements such as Design Basis, Engineering Calculations, LUP (Land Used Permission), Line Designation Table, Tie-in Index, Pipe Material Specification, Piping / Pipeline Data Sheets (Valves, Specialty Items, etc.), Safety Instruction Sheets, Material Requisitions, TBE/TBC, Hydrostatic Test Calculation and Hydrostatic Test Diagram, Hot Tap Calculation, Pipe Support Detail Drawings, Material Take-off, NMR (601,602 and 603), 3D model, Piping Plans/ Isometrics, Pipeline Routing Study, Alignment Sheet Drawing, Plan & Profile Drawing, Stress Analysis Report, and FEED verification report.
• Familiar with the Saudi Aramco Standards and relevant International Standards, especially with API 6A, ASME B31.3, B31.4 & ASME B31.8.
• Verification of preliminary design provided by Aramco, Sabic, Sadara, etc.
• Conducting site visits and collecting all required information.
• Interact with Clients, Project Management, and other Disciplines to achieve design objectives.
• Preparation of Safety Instruction Sheet (SIS), wall thickness calculation, Hydrostatic Test Diagrams, Drawing mark-up, Construction Scope of Work, Painting Specification, and BOM / Material Take-off’s as per Saudi Aramco Engineering Specifications and International Standards such as ASME, API & NACE requirements.
• Develop and check P&ID / PFD, Plot Plan, Piping layout, Piping Supports layout, and isometric drawings.
• Prepare Project Proposal Narratives, Construction Scope of Work, and Cut-Over Plans.
• Preparation of inter-discipline piping information drawings such as Structural Loading Information, Miscellaneous Support Information, Local Supports and Foundations, Equipment Platform, and Nozzle Orientations.
• Experience in conceptual layout, detailed piping design, special pipe support design, 3D modeling, and checking of MTO generated from 3D modeling.
• Preparation of MTOs.
• Preparation of MRs & TBEs.
• Review and approve NMRs.
• Participate in design review meetings as per project requirements and incorporate client comments on submitted deliverables.
• Follow up Piping/Pipeline construction work on project sites to ensure correct interpretation of IFC package.
• Resolve all technical issues during construction/commissioning and ensure that all works done on site are in accordance with the issued for construction (IFC) drawings, contract documents, and project specifications.
• Suggest ways to improve efficiency, costs, and service in the execution of projects.
• Support estimation, procurement, and construction departments as required.
• Preparation of redline drawings and As-built packages.
Skills
• Experience with approved Engineering Contractor in KSA / GES+ is required.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco, OMPP projects is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Proven track record in FEED/Detailed Design experience.
• Previous experience with Saudi Aramco/Sabic/Sadara is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.
• Experience in the use of pipeline design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Google Earth Pro Maps, CAESAR II) is advantageous.
