Treats in- and outpatients.
Assesses and puts a plan of treatment for in- and outpatients.
Gives chest therapy treatment to in- and outpatients based on the needs of the patients and for female patients in pre and post-partum; physiotherapist (female) conducts specific exercises.
Gives manual massage and medical exercise to outpatient/inpatient.
Returns any machine used in treatment room to its proper place by department porter.
Calls the porter of the department to clean and fix the bed and treatment tools after patient received treatment sessions.
Calls the porter of the department to clean daily any equipment used.
Available for on-call treatment of patients.
Responsible for preparing the room for the next patient if the porter is not around.
Implements appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the hospital's goals and objectives in pursuit of Standards of Care and quality performance improvement.
Participates in patient and family education to help patients and families better understand and participate in their care and make well-informed care decisions.
Performs other duties within the range of his/her professional knowledge and skills as directed by the Head of Physiotherapy.
Essential: One year experience as physiotherapist.
Desirable: Two years experience as a physiotherapist.
Essential: B.Sc. in Physical Therapy, certified by the Ministry of Health.
Desirable: Have attended courses of physiotherapy programs held by a physiotherapy group or has a Master’s degree.
