Ensures that AH-6i Aircraft maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness objectives.
Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform readiness rates.
Establishes daily maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in order to achieve stated readiness rates and MNG training objectives as required.
Oversees the daily maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Production Control (PC) Manager.
Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
Directs inquiries, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of AH-6i Aircraft and supporting maintenance activities to the PC Manager.
Supervises individuals as assigned.
Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.
In coordination with the Aviation Manager, supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.
Other duties as assigned and or directed by management.
Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods.
Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
Education: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
AH-6i, MD-500 series, MH-6, AH-64 and ten (10) years’ experience desired.
Note: Post hire AH-6i familiarization course will be required if applicant is not an A&P, AH-6i, MD500 series, MH-6, OH-58 or AH-64 qualified mechanic.
Recent aircraft mechanic experience.
FAA A&P certificate.
Aviation Technical Inspector (TI) experience.
FAA IA certificate.
Strong knowledge of military logistics procedures and regulations.
Qualified by a USG armed forces Rotary Wing aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent and five (5) years’ experience.
Graduate of a US Military aviation maintainers course or civilian equivalent training.
Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance on MD-530, AH-64, or OH-58D Aircraft.
