Job Purpose:
To provide advanced medical care and support to pediatric patients within the Population Health Management (PHM) department. The Pediatric Senior Registrar & Registrar will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care, promoting health education, and supporting the overall patient care plan in Primary Care centers, Telehealth, and Home Health Care settings.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Perform advanced clinical procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Manage and monitor pediatric patients with acute and chronic conditions, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct routine physical examinations, screenings, and preventive care interventions.
- Participate in offering specialized care in pediatric medicine field services.
- Provide continuity of care for pediatric patients with long-term health conditions.
Patient Education and Support:
- Educate pediatric patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Provide counseling on medication management, chronic disease care, and lifestyle modifications for children.
- Develop and distribute tailored educational materials on pediatric health and wellness.
- Support patients and families in understanding and managing their pediatric healthcare needs.
Coordination and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists, and other physicians, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Coordinate patient care activities to provide seamless transitions between primary care, telehealth, and home health care services.
- Act as a liaison between pediatrics and other medical specialties for complex pediatric cases.
Quality and Compliance:
- Adhere to healthcare regulations, standards, and protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pediatric patient medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and guidelines in pediatric practice.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated on advances in pediatric medicine, treatment protocols, and healthcare trends.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.
- Mentor and supervise junior doctors and residents in pediatric medicine as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- For Senior Registrar: MD or equivalent in Pediatric Medicine Specialty.
- For Registrar: Master’s degree or equivalent in Pediatric Medicine Specialty.
- Licensure and Certification: Valid medical license in Saudi Arabia from SCHS.
- Experience:
- Clinical experience in pediatric services.
- Experience in pediatric patient management and education.
- Proficiency in performing medical procedures relevant to pediatric medicine.
Skills:
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in pediatrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Work is performed in Primary Healthcare Centre, Telehealth Services, and Home health care visits.
- Hours:
1) Full-time position with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed.
2) Part-time position with fixed hour weekly & shifts, including weekends and holidays as organized by manager of PHC.
