We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Medina. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually stunning desserts, as well as strong leadership skills to manage a team of pastry chefs. The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including menu planning, ordering ingredients, and maintaining high quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Create and develop new dessert recipes that align with the hotel's concept and brand
Oversee the production and presentation of all pastries, breads, and desserts
Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain budget and quality standards
Train, develop, and supervise a team of pastry chefs to ensure consistent quality
Collaborate with other departments such as banquets and catering to create custom desserts for special events
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen according to health codes
Stay current on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve menu offerings
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
Degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry making preferred
Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, flavors, textures, and presentations
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
Creativity in developing new desserts while also able to execute classic recipes flawlessly
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and budgets effectively
We offer a competitive salary package of $900 per month along with benefits such as medical insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts at our hotel outlets. This position is open to candidates from Pakistan or Egypt who have the necessary qualifications and experience. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
