Pastry Chef vacancy in Jizan Saudi Arabia

We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries for our customers. You will also be in charge of managing the pastry kitchen, ordering supplies, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and prepare a wide variety of desserts and pastries according to recipes or customer requests.
2. Decorate pastries using different types of icings, toppings, and fillings.
3. Train and supervise pastry assistants and other kitchen staff.
4. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen.
6. Ensure all food safety regulations and standards are followed.
7. Develop new dessert recipes to keep up with current trends.
8. Collaborate with other chefs to create well-balanced menus.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
2. In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
3. Creative thinking skills with the ability to develop unique dessert ideas.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
5. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise staff.
7. Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
8. Food safety certification is preferred.

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience).

Location: This position is based in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. Applicants from all nationalities are welcome to apply. However, preference will be given to English-speaking candidates.
