Job Description

Lead and oversee the entire outbound supply chain operations for a nationwide retail network managing circa 1,200 stores. This includes directing three teams: Outbound Store Replenishment, New / UAE Stores Replenishment, and NTI & Guest Care.

Optimize inventory valued at approximately SAR 2 billion while ensuring seamless inventory management, store readiness, and exceptional guest satisfaction. Champion strategic projects, including network expansion, inventory optimization, digital transformation, and cross-functional process enhancements to meet corporate goals and financial targets.

Accountabilities

Strategy and Development

  1. Develop and implement outbound supply planning strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and smooth product flow across network.
  2. Initiate & drive the long-term outbound supply chain strategy to support business growth, operations excellence, and market competitiveness.
  3. Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align supply chain objectives with corporate goals, ensuring an agile and responsive approach to market dynamics.
  4. Drive key projects in collaboration with DC operations to optimize the flow of outbound to stores, ensuring smooth and level distribution plans aiming for optimized DC logistics costs.
  5. Lead, mentor, and develop the supply planning team, providing guidance on best practices and process improvements.
  6. Design a solid framework for supply planning processes, practices, performance KPIs and link them in hierarchal structure to grant bottom-up achievements of all measuring aspects.
  7. Emphasize in adopting and implementing advanced technologies, such as AI and automation, in supply chain processes.

Inventory management & Operations

  1. Lead and align stores inventory budget plan ensuring alignment with commercial excellence, S&OP targets for Month / Quarter / Annual Targets.
  2. Oversee legacy inventory management, ensuring minimal waste and maximum efficiency while meeting financial targets, Drive key projects of optimizing legacy inventory.
  3. Accountable on delivering total end year stores inventory target and days of coverage on monthly basis as per S&OP numbers.
  4. Lead and design processes and activities managing and improve stores inventory quality (legacy relocation, closed stores process, DC to DC stock balancing, etc.).
  5. Design MinMax control lines of DCs outbound capacity and lead outbound supply planning team activities to control production volume in between to manage Supply Chain cost.
  6. Lead andor co-lead activitiesprojects of acquiring or upgrading current technical enablers, systems, will take the organization to next level in digitalization, automation and efficiency.
  7. Leading Supply Chain strategy aspect related to outbound supply planning and collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure healthy business continuity, growth and sustainability.

Relationship Management

  1. Lead guest satisfaction tools, activities and surveys action plan and outputs to ensure continuous improvements and maximum guest satisfaction (NPS).
  2. Lead outbound supply planning roles in S&OP meetings / forums.
  3. Work closely with the operations team to align supply planning with store-level targets and operational requirements.

Financial Budget and Control

  1. Accountable on annual outbound volume (9B SAR annual sales - 7B SAR outbound orders).
  2. Accountable on annual stores inventory investment (2B SAR inventory budget).
  3. Accountable on new stores inventory investment (200M SAR inventory budget).

People Management

  1. Design and develop technical training programs required to outbound planning team according to ASCM-SCOR people skills toolkit in order to build team capabilities.
  2. Engage and celebrate team success via reporting their achievements of targets and identify any actions required.
  3. Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff.
Employee duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

  1. Indoors : 80%
  2. Outdoors : 20%
  3. Working Days : 5 Working Days
  4. Days off : 2 Days Off
Working Hours : 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Job Requirement

Education

  1. Bachelors Degree in any Discipline or Supply Chain
  2. Supply Chain Certification either : (CSCP, CPIM) is mandatory.

Experience

  1. 15 Years of Experience; out of which 5 are in the same scope.

  1. MS Office Suite
  2. Oracle Supply Planning System (SP)
  3. Oracle Retail demand Forecast system (RDF)
  4. Retail Warehouse Management System (RWMS)
