OT Principal Consultant

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee cybersecurity projects for operational technology systems in various critical infrastructures.
2. Provide expert guidance on protecting OT systems from cyber threats.
3. Assess OT Cybersecurity program (standards, policies, plans, and procedures) and provide recommendations to comply with applicable cybersecurity frameworks, standards & regulations based on the operational needs of a client’s organization.
4. Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments using industry recognized methodologies specific for manufacturing and critical infrastructure environments to identify security risks and threats and provide recommendations to remediate the identified issues.
5. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
6. Implement security measures to safeguard OT environments.
7. Respond to and manage incidents related to cybersecurity breaches in various OT environments.
8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in OT cybersecurity.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place.
10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to convey the importance of cybersecurity in OT systems.
11. Effectively communicate with clients to ensure their requirements are met and achieve high satisfaction rates.
12. Mentor and share knowledge and expertise with a diverse team of talented individuals in the OT team.
13. Assess network architectures against industry recognized standards and ensure practices are being followed.
14. Provide recommendations to comply with applicable cybersecurity frameworks, standards & regulations.
15. Lead and deliver penetration testing to critical infrastructures using various tools and techniques.
16. Have hands-on experience with OT cybersecurity solutions deployments.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required; a Master’s in Cybersecurity is a plus.
2. Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly preferred.
3. Certified ISA Expert is a plus.
4. 8+ years of experience.
5. Previous experience working for OT Control system vendors and/or cybersecurity consultation firms is a plus.
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; leadership qualities; conceptual and analytical thinking.
