As an OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity Technical Solution Architect Specialist at Siemens Energy, you will be at the forefront of protecting mission-critical systems and critical national infrastructure. Your day will involve engaging with customers to understand and shape their cybersecurity requirements, developing high-quality solutions for complex projects, and ensuring successful implementation within tight timelines. You will adapt Siemens Energy’s cybersecurity portfolio to meet regulatory and compliance needs while staying ahead of competitors.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Lead the execution of OT cybersecurity workshops, risk assessments, and remediation engagements for customers. Your expertise will enable you to:

1. Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and gap analyses.
2. Perform audits in compliance with standards such as NERC CIP and IEC 62443.
3. Design and implement vendor-agnostic cybersecurity solutions for industrial control systems.
4. Successfully execute onsite implementation and engineering of OT cybersecurity solutions.
5. Provide in-depth technical analysis and guidance on industrial control systems security trends.

Collaborate with sales teams to develop and deliver OT cybersecurity proposals and scope of work documents, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Conduct thorough security reviews and assessments of customers’ operational technology and OT security risk landscapes. Advise on enhancements and develop strategies, roadmaps, and new operating models to help customers achieve their security goals.

Work with global cybersecurity teams to develop contextualized product and service offerings aimed at reducing cybersecurity risk in OT environments.

Apply deep cybersecurity skills to design, build, and protect industrial control systems, applications, data, assets, and people for our customers.

Supporting the regional cybersecurity team in defining strategies in alignment with the group-level objective.

Assist the regional cybersecurity team in defining strategies that align with group-level objectives. Develop strategic initiatives in collaboration with sales and project management to drive business growth and achieve targets.

What You Bring

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, I&C or related fields.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant technical or consulting environment, with at least 5 years dedicated to supporting PLC, DCS, SIS, or SCADA systems.
3. Skilled in supporting and troubleshooting industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus TCP, HART, and Foundation Fieldbus.
4. Demonstrated experience with ICS systems and security industry practices, with essential exposure to operational technologies.
5. Experienced in the sales, development, or operation of IT or OT Managed Security Services.
6. Ability to create business value for various stakeholders across the region through innovative thinking.
7. Proven experience in developing technical proposals.
8. Familiar with critical infrastructure and regulatory requirements in the energy sector of relevant countries.
9. Proficient in cybersecurity technologies, tools, and techniques, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
10. Comprehensive working knowledge of standards such as IEC 62443/ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82, CPNI Good Practice, NERC CIP, TSA SD02C, and NIS2.
11. Preferred certifications include GICSP, CISSP, ISA99, CCSA, CCSE, CRISC, CCSP, and EC-Council Ethical Hacker.
12. Experience in deploying or supporting security practices and technologies such as risk or vulnerability assessments, antivirus software, firewalls, switches, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM tools in industrial environments like energy companies or large manufacturing organizations.
13. Experience in technical project coordination or project management.
14. Travel Availability: Willingness to travel up to 75% as needed.
