Main Purpose Of The Role
Perform activities related to waste managing sorting, separating and shredding and processing of selected waste streams and co-ordinating of transport of waste from various sites to end user beneficiation.
Main Duties
Oversee the waste feedstock supply into the respective plants.
Oversee and Plan for Maintenance and major repairs to the RDF/TDF Plants with service providers.
Planning and coordinating the supply and quality of waste materials to the RDF/TDF plants from the source, landfills or other facilities.
Conduct frequent checks on the quality of the feedstock and limit contamination of the RDF/TDF or similar waste.
Oversee the supervision of the sorting and separation process with outsourced contractors.
Co-ordinate the daily inspection of the respective plants before start-up.
Staff supervision oversight with line supervisor.
Controlling the feedstock supply in line with plant capacity for the respective plants in the different locations.
Develop KPIs for sub-contractors to ensure the production and transport volumes are maintained.
Overseeing the logistics (fleet control/management) (in-house/outsourced)
Optimization of fleet utilization for cost and volumes of waste streams transported.
Be able to travel between sites to review productivity and quality of RDF/TDF processed and prepared.
The individual will oversee our client's overall production of Refuse-derived fuel requirements.
Client liaison daily to understand any specific needs or challenges.
Controlling the cost per ton in production and the cost per ton in transport.
