Operations Planning Engineer

As an Operations Planning Engineer, you will be part of the Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Your Responsibilities

1. Creation of PT for the PM and process documentation.
2. Checking and adapting the PT to the actual scope of supply upon receipt of the order.
3. Assembly planning by creating a detailed sequence program with all project-relevant activities.
4. Personnel planning through determining the personnel requirement and initiating reservations.
5. Creation of the scheduling in consultation with the customer and PM.
6. Determination of the required assembly tools in cooperation with assembly personnel.
7. Timely procurement and shipping of assembly consumables to the construction site.
8. Determination and procurement of construction site infrastructure in consultation with project management.
9. Regulation of responsibilities and information paths between project participants and the construction site.
10. Determination of delivery sequences of materials through cooperation with sales and handling offices.
11. Supporting personnel assigned for the duration of the project.
12. Continuous checking of accrued costs through budget and actual costs comparison in SAP.
13. Evaluation of progress reports and informing project managers on work status and accrued costs.
14. Inspection and initiation of time sheets.
15. Handling of insurance cases in agreement with the insurer and project manager.
16. Requesting commissioning personnel according to personnel planning.
17. Monitoring observance of accident prevention regulations.
18. Advising and supporting employees at the construction site in organizational and technical matters.
19. Participation in project meetings as a member of the project organization.
20. Immediate reporting of unusual occurrences to the direct superior.

Your Background

1. A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or high diploma.
2. Minimum 5+ years of working experience with GIS preferred.
3. Experience with SF6 GAS-Handling.
4. HE-CH GIS Product knowledge preferred.
5. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
