The opportunity

You will oversee and optimize operations across four key areas: Planning and Fulfillment, Production, Industrial Engineering Development, and Warehouse Management. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficiency, coordination, and productivity throughout the factory. You will have full accountability for running the mid-long-term strategy and day-to-day operational execution focused on material availability, capacity readiness, and organization meeting market and customers’ expectations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Accountable for ensuring all Factory Operation functions are organized, staffed, and directed. Responsible for building an effective, capable, and high-performing organization.
• Responsible for developing talent, reviewing organizational effectiveness, performing competence assessments, and continuous skill upgrades.
• Management of Operations to deliver GIS Dammam Factory level RELEX KPIs in line with company expectations and accountable for delivering 4C targets for Operation including safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity, as well as being responsible for on-time project execution.
• Planning and fulfillment involves developing and implementing strategic plans for material forecasting to ensure timely availability of resources, coordinating closely with feeder factories to align supply chain processes and schedules, and analyzing market trends and production demands to adjust forecasts and inventory levels.
• Production management includes overseeing assembly and testing processes to ensure high-quality production output, managing vendor relationships and workforce hours to optimize production schedules and costs, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Industrial Engineering Development consists of leading efforts to improve operational efficiency and reduce cycle times, conducting time and motion studies to identify areas for process optimization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Warehouse Management involves managing materials handling to ensure the timely delivery of materials to production lines, optimizing warehouse layout and processes to improve storage and retrieval efficiency, and monitoring inventory levels to implement inventory control measures that minimize waste and excess.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management within the energy or manufacturing sector.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge base of Lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma.
• Continuous Improvement background with a minimum of Green Belt and Black Belt Certification is an advantage, along with risk management experience in FMEA with the capability to investigate root causes of failures and create control plans. Good knowledge in Quality Management systems & Operational Planning & control in a production environment.
• Experience with SAP or MES system software is a plus.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
