We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Al Salama Hospital. The ideal candidate will deliver expert pharmaceutical care to cancer patients, ensure optimal drug therapy outcomes, and manage oncology pharmacy services. This role requires collaboration with healthcare providers and participation in clinical research to continuously enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Pharmacy Services
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, including medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and adverse effect management.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans.
Ensure the safe and effective use of chemotherapy and targeted therapies.
Pharmacy Operations
Oversee the daily operations of the oncology pharmacy, including inventory management and procurement.
Develop and implement policies to comply with regulatory standards.
Manage the pharmacy budget and optimize resource utilization.
Education and Training
Train healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers on oncology medications.
Stay updated on advancements in oncology pharmacy.
Research and Development
Collaborate on clinical trials and studies related to oncology medications.
Analyze and interpret data to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
Skills And Qualifications
Essential:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent.
SCHS and MOH licensure.
5+ years of experience in oncology pharmacy.
Desired:
Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
10+ years of experience, with a focus on clinical pharmacy practice and leadership.
