JOB TYPE: Full-time

LOCATION: Dammam

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: IT Manager.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Analyze and understand the client's business requirements, processes, and challenges to identify suitable Odoo solutions.
  2. Design, configure, and customize Odoo modules and applications to meet the specific needs of the client.
  3. Collaborate with the client's stakeholders to gather business requirements, document functional specifications, and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Develop and implement Odoo-based integrations with other enterprise systems, such as CRM, finance, or HR applications.
  5. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Odoo implementations to ensure the system is functioning as per the client's requirements.
  6. Provide comprehensive training and support to the client's end-users on the deployed Odoo solutions.
  7. Continuously monitor the Odoo system's performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization measures.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo features, modules, and best practices, and recommend upgrades or enhancements to the client.
  9. Document all Odoo configurations, customizations, and integration procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and easy maintenance.
  10. Collaborate with the Odoo development team to address complex technical issues, provide input on feature enhancements, and contribute to the overall product roadmap.
  11. Assist in the pre-sales process by providing technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and proposals for prospective clients.
  12. Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management to ensure the successful delivery of Odoo implementations.

Qualifications

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Certified Odoo Functional Consultant and/or Odoo Developer certification.
  3. Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant postgraduate qualification.

Experience

  1. Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant or a similar role in the Odoo ecosystem.
  2. Proven track record of successful Odoo implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, and deployment.
  3. Extensive experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating Odoo modules and applications to meet complex business requirements.
  4. Strong understanding of Odoo's core modules, such as Accounting, Inventory, Sales, and CRM, and their integration capabilities.
  5. Experience in developing custom Odoo modules, workflows, and reports using Odoo's development framework.
  6. Familiarity with Odoo's database management, security, and user administration concepts.
  7. Knowledge of various Odoo deployment options, including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex Odoo-related issues.
  3. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  4. Project management skills to coordinate and deliver Odoo implementation projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  5. Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing client requirements, technological advancements, and Odoo ecosystem updates.
  6. Continuous learning mindset to stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo features, modules, and best practices.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Technical Skills

  1. Proficient in Odoo's configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
  2. Expertise in Odoo's development framework, including Python, XML, and JavaScript.
  3. Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
  4. Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  5. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment automation tools.
  6. Experience in integrating Odoo with various third-party applications and services.
  7. Understanding of Odoo's security, user access, and multi-company functionality.
  8. Exposure to Odoo's performance optimization techniques and scalability considerations.
  9. Familiarity with Odoo's testing, debugging, and monitoring tools and processes.
