O&M Shift Leader
Reports to
Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Vanderlande is responsible for the Service & Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System at Different Airports. We are currently seeking an O&M Shift Leader to join our team. The Shift Leader will be a main responder to emergency situations and will lead a team to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at the site matching our Service contract requirement.

Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities)

  1. Exercise safe working practice at all times
  2. Inspect and diagnose complex mechanical/electrical systems
  3. Inspect and diagnose all the equipment of the systems
  4. Perform specified preventive maintenance
  5. Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems
  6. Interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)
  7. Attend to faults, alarms, and warnings
  8. Monitor reporting through CMMS, including generating and closing work orders
  9. React to messages from the Control Room or manager
  10. React to messages from the Operations Teams regarding Preventive or Corrective Maintenance
  11. Perform monthly CM/PM, including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, replacement parts as needed
  12. Ensure quality of maintenance executed on-site according to contract agreed with the customer(s)
  13. Manage system issues on-site with the maintenance team, manager, and the customer
  14. Setup and maintain work schedule to ensure fulfilment of contract deliverables and more
  15. Provide assistance to Manager (if applicable) on daily operations and perform as the manager in his absence
  16. Ensure proper levels of supplies (spare parts, tools, and office supplies) and manage vendor interactions
  17. Initiate process improvements to ensure continuous improvement of the maintenance performance to the contract
  18. Acts independently in several technical tasks
  19. Identifies issues that need extra attention
  20. Solves problems which disturb the daily operation
  21. Trains less experienced employees

Your Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electro-mechanical Field
  2. Minimum 4 years technical experience in an industrial environment
  3. Working experience with mechanical, electrical, and controls (PLC, PC) systems is a must
  4. 3 years of prior experience as a Lead Team

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 2 years Material Handling Experience
  2. Minimum of 2-year CMMS Experience preferred
  3. Minimum of 2 years PLC / SCADA Experience
