Nutanix HCI Consultant

We are looking for a seasoned HCI Nutanix Consultant to be based in Riyadh, KSA with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions using Nutanix technology. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-level IT operations and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HCI Design and Implementation:
   Architect, deploy, and manage Nutanix HCI solutions in line with business requirements.
   Customize configurations to enhance performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
   Integrate Nutanix with existing IT infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, and networking.
2. Infrastructure Management:
   Oversee the health and performance of Nutanix clusters and ensure high availability.
   Implement backup, disaster recovery, and replication solutions using Nutanix tools like Prism and AHV.
   Conduct regular upgrades, patches, and firmware updates for Nutanix environments.
3. Performance Optimization:
   Monitor resource utilization and optimize workloads for maximum efficiency.
   Troubleshoot issues related to Nutanix clusters, storage, or virtualization layers.
   Leverage Nutanix analytics and reporting tools for capacity planning and forecasting.
4. Technical Expertise and Support:
   Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Nutanix technologies within the organization.
   Provide Tier 3 support for Nutanix-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
   Create detailed technical documentation, including operational procedures and best practices.
5. Collaboration and Training:
   Work with IT teams, architects, and business stakeholders to align Nutanix strategies with organizational goals.
   Conduct training sessions for IT staff on Nutanix best practices and operations.
