JOB DUTIES STATEMENTS:

Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Decides with the Dental Assistant to prepare the materials and instruments required for specific types of dental procedures.
  2. Diagnoses and allocates the cause of dental pain/problem.
  3. Treats dental cases in his specialty (Perio, Prostho, Ortho, Pedo, Endo, etc.).
  4. Provides emergency and multidisciplinary comprehensive care in multiple environments; cares for patients with special needs.
  5. Educates patients and motivates them to improve their oral hygiene.
  6. Cooperates with the Education Department in giving proper education to patients.
  7. Engages in education and research.
  8. Attends departmental meetings and seminars.
  9. Ensures proper relevant consents and questionnaires are filled prior to the examination.
  10. Attends meetings as appropriate and contributes ideas for improving efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
  11. Performs cases according to the privileges given to him and signed by the chairperson.
  12. Shares in departmental staff meetings and maintains minutes of all meetings.
  13. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  14. Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
  15. Represents DSFH in a positive and professional manner in the community.
  16. Develops a thorough understanding of DSFH policies and procedures and effectively participates in their execution.
  17. Follows clinical responsibilities as outlined in the Privileging Form.
  18. Other Job Functions:
  19. Performs all duties and tasks in line with the Person Centered Care values.
  20. Adheres to all policies, plans, and programs within Fakeeh Care.
  21. Performs duties as per the code of conduct requirement and ethical standards as outlined in HCM policies and guidelines.
  22. Completes mandatory education as per the requirement at least one month prior to expiration.
  23. Maintains up-to-date knowledge on information relating to quality and safety, accreditation, policy management, and document management systems.

Qualifications

  1. Saudi Specialty Certificate or the equivalent thereof related health science from an accredited institution.
  2. For Consultant: Fellowship within the particular sub-specialty for a period of three years, after completion of the higher qualification, or a Fellowship within a subspecialty for a period of two years, after completion of one year experience in the same specialty, or training for one year in the subspecialty, in addition to four years experience in the same specialty, or completion of not less than six years experience within the sub-specialty in a Specialized Unit in a recognized center, after completion of the higher qualification.
  3. Saudi Commission for Health Specialty and Ministry of Health Saudi License is required.
