Job description

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for bringing in new Business to Business (B2B) clients and driving business and revenue growth by increasing sales of Canon core products and exploiting Office Imaging & Solutions opportunities.

  1. Generate top quality prospects from small to mid-size (medium or large enterprise) new businesses across the KSA and manage a very active pipeline with short or long sale cycles.
  2. Establish strong business contacts/relationships with leads, including data gathering and leading the customer on their journey to becoming a client.
  3. Acquire and close new business deals through cold calling and prospecting. Sell through tele-sales, face-to-face sales, and sales presentations to prospective customers.
  4. Identify qualified prospects and navigate company structures to identify decision-makers. Proactively seek new avenues to penetrate clients and attract prospects.
  5. Apply consultative sales skills to assist in explaining product benefits and features, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
  6. Drive customer engagements, meetings, develop opportunities, and other skilled assets to position, propose, and close deals.
  7. Deliver face-to-face and/or online presentations and proposals.
  8. Track and analyze market/industry trends and identify new business while maintaining extensive knowledge of the current market.
  9. Maintain an active pipeline report through Salesforce, logging all activities.
  10. Communicate with clients/customers to understand their needs and explain product value.
  11. Use product knowledge to build trust, value, and influence with the customers.
  12. Quote prices and rates as needed to close the deal.
  13. Meet or exceed sales goals and expectations. Responsible for growing sales revenue.
  14. Success in this role is measured by meeting daily and weekly lead generation goals while consistently staying ahead of daily metrics in a team-focused environment.
  15. Guarantee a seamless onboarding process where you introduce the Account Manager and the rest of the team to the client and establish regular communication going forward.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. University Degree essential.
  2. B2B Account Management background is preferred.
  3. Proven lead generation and cold calling (telephone or face-to-face) experience.
  4. Outstanding lead generation, sales, business development, and negotiation skills.
  5. Social media skills (LinkedIn, Networking, etc.).
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  7. Generally, technically savvy, and open to tech products.
  8. Technical expertise would be a plus, but not a deal-breaker; we will train!
  9. Excellent mathematical and analytical thinking.
  10. Experience using MS Office tools, advanced Salesforce.com usage & knowledge.
  11. Adaptable to unforeseen situations, keeping focus on the customer and making empowered decisions with integrity, empathy, and compassion.
  12. Consultative sales skills required to assist in explaining product benefits and features, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
  13. Ability to translate potential client needs into sales opportunities.
  14. Excellent listener, assertive, persistent, persuasive, and results-oriented.
  15. Strong hunter/new business development skills in B2B sales with a desire to exceed expectations and quotas.
  16. Must be a self-starter with effective time management skills.
