JOB SUMMARY

Lead in the diagnosis and management of neurological conditions, contribute to a dynamic medical team, conduct and interpret various tests and scans, develop treatment plans, perform procedures such as lumbar punctures or nerve conduction studies, and provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals while advancing your career in a prestigious healthcare environment.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides high-quality Neurology care to patients in this area of medicine.
• Provide consultative service as requested.
• Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
• Actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participate in research activities.
• Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
• Perform special procedures as privileged.
• Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
• Completion of required period of training in Neurology.
• Arab, Jordanian, Egyptian Board certification in the relevant medical neurology is typically required or equivalent.
• Membership and/or Fellowship or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
• A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
• Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

• Min. 5 years Post Board/Fellowship in Neurology.
• A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

• Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
