Network Support Engineer

Job purpose:

The Job Holder is responsible to support and implement Flynas’s network infrastructure and to resolve issues to ensure 24/7 connectivity of the company network.

Responsibilities:

1. Propose controls and standards to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Analyze existing systems and propose improvements or new solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Provide 1st level Network 24/7 system support to all Flynas users and support the connectivity of any Network devices for all projects.
4. Configure and manage security devices, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, NAC, WAF systems.
5. Apply and maintain all IT Networks devices configurations including routers, switches, etc. for LAN, WAN, and Wireless, and apply OS updates, patches, and configuration changes as per ITIL and change management process.
6. Review and troubleshoot any Flynas links with abnormal network behaviors and provide the necessary recommendations to resolve link problems while advising the related parties.
7. Administrate all IT Networks Management and Monitoring Tools or any IT Networks and arrange with proper planning and rollback plans for any changes across IT and business functions.
8. Analyze situations, diagnose root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions to ensure that all immediate situations are responded to in a timely manner to avoid business risks and work delays.

Skills:

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer network.

Professional Experience:

03-05 years of overall experience in IT function, preferably in Network & Security.
