Job Overview
The Network And Security Lead role at KaarTech is a senior-level position located in Dammam. This full-time role is designed for an experienced professional who will oversee and manage the security operations for network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network and security protocols and hands-on experience with specific security tools and systems. Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network devices and security solutions (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless networks.
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
- Strong understanding of security principles, such as zero-trust architecture and least-privilege access.
- Proficiency in scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) for network tasks.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios) and security platforms (e.g., SIEM).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Firewall Management (Mandatory skill), demonstrating the ability to configure, monitor, and secure firewall systems to prevent unauthorized access while ensuring network efficiency.
- Experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPN) (Mandatory skill) to securely connect remote users and ensure data confidentiality over public networks.
- Expertise with Juniper (Mandatory skill) technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting of their network security solutions.
- Strong understanding of Network Security Protocols, including a solid grasp of securing communications and mitigating network threats effectively.
- Proven ability in Risk Assessment to evaluate network vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures to safeguard network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, implementing strict access controls based on verification rather than assumed trust within networks.
- Competency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to aggregate, analyze, and manage security event data across the organization.
- Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the right resources at the right times for the right reasons.
