Perform on-aircraft and off-aircraft scheduled and unscheduled Non Destructive Inspection of:
Materials, parts and components utilising liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic and radiographic techniques to observe, measure and detect discontinuities, flaws and defects.
Ensures work is carried out in accordance with the standards and procedures detailed within the MOE.
Ensures strict tool control is carried out in accordance with tool control procedures.
Carry out TCTO's and Special inspections when directed.
Development of assigned SNTTP trainees.

Job Requirements
National civilian / military equivalent and successful completion of a recognised national aircraft maintenance traineeship / apprenticeship OR a Higher National Diploma (HND) Level in Engineering or equivalent.
Equipment specific training and relevant type training (Q Course) if required.
Have at least 5 years post qualification practical maintenance experience supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training OR successful completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/ TSNTTP).
Have attained Specialist Level 2 NDI qualification (e.g. EN4179, ASNT, PCN)
Demonstrate knowledge / understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
Understanding and application of human factors, error management, health & safety and proactive hazard analysis, appropriate to the role.
Broad Aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge.
Be able to work in close harmony in a mixed EE/SN workforce.
Post holder must be HF trained.
Hold a current driving license.
