Multi Discipline QC Inspector/Engineer (Welding + Painting)

Quality Control & Quality Assurance on all Welding and Coating activities as per S.ARAMCO, SABIC and International (ASME) codes/standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect welds; make recommendations for accepting or rejecting work, ensure safety standards.
2. Monitor all aspects of the welding process before, during, and after welding to ensure compliance with codes or specifications.
3. Verify welding equipment appropriateness.
4. Prepare new WPS/PQR to optimize production manhours.
5. Train and qualify all welders and welding operators in all positions and processes.
6. Establish new welding techniques, training, orientation of welders, and ensure correct welding consumables are used.
7. Prepare and maintain all in-process QC reports for review and approval by client inspectors.
8. Perform audits and surveillance.
9. Develop quality assurance plans.
10. Prepare weld consumable control requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Prefer candidates available in KSA with Transferable Visa or candidates in India for immediate joining.

- Minimum 7 years in the same position.

- Experience in piping, tanks, pressure vessels, fabrication as a welding inspector.

- Capable of handling third-party inspection agencies like Velosi, Lloyds, BV, ABS, etc.

- Conversant with international codes such as ASME, ASTM, TEMA, API, DIN, JIS, ANSI, BS-5500, etc., and S.ARAMCO, SABIC standards.

- Thorough in QA/QC documentation, welding procedure/welder qualification.

- Exposure to ISO-9001 Quality system and internal quality audits.

- Proficient in English and Arabic (understand, read, write, speak).

- Computer skills (elementary, Microsoft Office, CAD, special).

Certification Requirements:

• Certificate of welding inspection personnel CSWIP 3.1 OR AWS.
• Certificate of Painting inspection personnel - BGAS Grade 2 or NACECE.
