MPD Country Operations Manager - Managed Pressure Drilling

Job Summary:
Reporting to the MPD MEA Regional manager, the MPD Country Operations manager will have overall responsibility for all Sales and Operations deliverables in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for ensuring that the MPD operations in Saudi are executed to meet or exceed business goals and customer expectations, aligning with the company's standards and policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Effectively manage all MPD Saudi projects according to NOV Policies and Procedures, local regulatory and government requirements and contractual requirements.
2. Develop new opportunities and manage existing projects to ensure growth and profitability of the product line.
3. Capex generation and Budget planning and forecasting.
4. Effective product fleet management including product lifecycle, assets, inventory, training, servicing.
5. Monitor revenue generation on a monthly basis and compare actual revenue to budgeted figures and advise on any deviations.
6. Educate the customer and provide technical and operational assistance in the planning and execution of all MPD projects.
7. Establish long-term collaboration relationships with the partners, clients, and beneficiaries of MPD.
8. Timely monitor the progress in relation to MPD targets.
9. Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to senior management.
10. Identify personnel requirements and regional/local hiring of personnel in conjunction with HR Department.
11. Identify training requirements and organize the same.
12. Management of P&L.
13. Strategic planning and execution of the MPD business development plan in the MENA Region.
14. Constantly monitor customer feedback, deadlines and deliverables, ensuring all issues are handled effectively and efficiently.
15. Provide support related to planning and design for upcoming MPD projects and work closely with in-country Operations Team to ensure successful project delivery.
16. Identify Equipment requirements for new and existing projects and put in place plans to acquire the same.
17. Efficient utilization of equipment and personnel.
18. Regular Competency and Performance assessment of all personnel assigned to projects in region.
19. Regular client meetings and site visits to review and update all operational, technical and QHSE related matters.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. 10+ years MPD experience.
2. Candidates with HND/Diploma/Degree in related subject (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical).
3. Functional knowledge of current flow modelling Software.
4. Good English communication skills (both oral and written).
5. Proven ability to work in a team environment.
6. Professional manner with a positive customer service attitude.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Mobile and willing to work irregular hours in a field environment.
9. Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
10. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in order to meet deadlines.
11. Work history that demonstrates the ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.
12. Proven time and project management skills.
13. Proven ability to successfully lead a multidisciplinary team.
