Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking an experienced Middle East Accounting Manager to join our organization in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role will lead a local accounting team both in our manufacturing facility in Dammam and extensively collaborate with colleagues in the KES shared capability model. This position will report to the ET&S Middle East Controller.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary resource for finance and accounting at the Saudi manufacturing facility, ensuring rigorous adherence to control standards and timely, accurate reporting.
  • Lead the local accounting team and drive the application of Principle Based Management TM to develop talent that aligns with the KES vision and values. Foster an environment that prioritizes contribution, innovation and personal growth.
  • Proactively forge strong partnerships with local operations and regional business teams.
  • Drive KES & ET&S Finance transformation by participating and leading initiatives linked to the company's strategy, including ERP implementation.
  • Maintain and enhance an effective financial control environment. Ensure robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and provide reliable financial information.
  • Provide analytical insights that support strategic initiatives and contribute to profitable decision-making and optimization for the Saudi and Middle East region.
  • Support new and emerging local statutory requirements in tax laws in UAE, KSA: e.g. E- Invoicing, new regulations, in coordination with Company's tax team or with Tax consultants.
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high performing, skilled and motivated team.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in an Accounting/Finance focused role(s) that require a solid understanding of cost accounting processes, local statutory requirements, and financial reporting.
  • Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365; including Advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation).
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel Experience (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in Accounting and Analysis roles.
  • Experience using OneStream, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analytic and visualization tools.
  • Experience using Infor LN or similar manufacturing ERP products.
  • Experience with accounting consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and consolidating international entities with foreign currencies.
  • Experience in process innovation/transformation/implementation.
