MEP Draftsman (Swimming Pool)

We are looking for a skilled MEP Draftsperson with 5-7 years of experience to prepare detailed MEP

(Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings, layouts, and schematics for MEP projects. The ideal

candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other drafting software, with a strong

understanding of MEP systems and coordination.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to the MEP Project Manager.

Works closely with internal and external stakeholders including consultants, engineers, architects,

planners, construction managers and quantity surveyors.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drafting & Design:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D MEP drawings using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM software.

• Develop layouts for electrical, plumbing and drainage systems.

• Modify and update drawings based on design changes or site conditions.

Coordination & Review:

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate integration of MEP

systems.

• Identify and resolve clashes between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services using clash

• Conduct regular reviews and revisions to ensure compliance with project specifications and local

building codes.

Technical Support & Documentation:

• Maintain an organized database of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings in coordination with MEP Engineers.

• Assist and coordinate with QS for identification and quantifying variation.

• Support site teams with technical drawings and coordinate any required changes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

• 5-7 years of experience in MEP drafting for construction projects.

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing layouts.

• Knowledge of MEP codes, standards, and regulations.

• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
