About the Job:
To maximize sales and market share of assigned Sanofi products in the designated area by conducting sales promotions in line with Company strategy, rules, and local regulations and support the District Manager / Sales Manager in knowledge transfer to new hires.

To achieve success, it is critical that the Medical Representative:

  1. Promote Sanofi products.
  2. Conduct regular visits to pharmacies to monitor product availability and movement.
  3. Introduce new products.
  4. Use sales techniques and operational tools to achieve sales objectives and constantly seek to improve selling skills and knowledge.

KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Supply quality medical information to healthcare professionals in compliance with professional ethics and company image, rules, and regulations.
  2. Identify customers and manage sales promotion of assigned products to target doctors to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets in line with company strategy.
  3. Develop weekly and monthly visit plans in consultation with the line manager and in compliance with Sanofi internal sales systems and procedures.
  4. Maintain and update product and competition knowledge to create a good professional image and build good relationships with trade personnel.
  5. Identify and establish new business opportunities.
  6. Update all required information on doctor cards and lists.
  7. Implement ongoing targeting and profiling of customers to increase sales.
  8. Communicate regularly with key opinion leaders, get market feedback, and report relevant information to the line manager in line with company procedures and best practices.
  9. Support the District Manager with knowledge transfer to new hires to familiarize them with product knowledge, medical information, territory coverage, and reporting systems.
  10. Implement the territory coverage plan (No. of sales calls & visit frequency).

Maintain Compliance:
Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with company procedures with a duty of care to the reputation of the company.

Ethical Leadership:
Take personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

About You:

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Education Level:
Bachelor’s degree in a medical field (Medicine, Pharmacy)

Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sanofi Medical Representative or minimum 3 years relevant work experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
