Job Title: Mechanical Technician - MG25/2484J25003 (5 - 7 yrs.)

Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 5 - 7 yrs.

Job Description:

1. Preventive maintenance tasks like greasing, inspections, part replacements or complete machine overhauls according to schedule.
2. Independently handle the issues assigned by Mechanical Foreman/Asst. Maintenance Manager related to mechanical maintenance in the plant.
3. Attend to breakdown issues reported by the production department and rectify the issue as soon as possible.
4. Perform preventive maintenance tasks assigned by Mechanical Foreman/Technical Coordinator.
5. Ensure daily care like greasing and cleaning by Asst. Technicians.
6. Complete/fill the preventive maintenance checklist after the completion of preventive care (i.e., Weekly, Monthly, 3 Month, 6 months as per OM).
7. Work overtime as required by management.
8. Be available for call-outs if required.
9. Complete assigned jobs by Foreman & upkeep of Log Books.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA):

1. Technical / Functional Skills: Knowledge of safety standards, safety equipment, and mechanical tools.
2. Behavioral Skills: Good attitude towards work, communication skills, team player, ability to prioritize, coaching mentality, ability to work under pressure.
3. Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and training certificates in mechanical-related fields such as pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, fitting, and tuning.
4. Business Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the field of machinery maintenance.
5. Languages Known: Good command of English; Arabic language is an added value.

Key Deliverables:

1. Follow Preventive Maintenance Schedule to reduce/prevent breakdown.
2. Maintain plant machineries breakdown/downtime to a minimum.
3. Reduce consumption of spare parts/consumables compared to the previous year.
4. Assist mechanical/automation team with repairs or troubleshooting when required.
5. Resolve GMP issues.
