To perform maintenance activities of production machineries & utility equipment to run a smooth production activity.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Having hands-on experience on routine preventive/predictive maintenance of Pharma Manufacturing & Packaging Machineries.
Having hands-on experience of utility equipment like Boiler, Chiller, Air Compressor, Firefighting Equipment, etc.
Maintaining the shift-wise breakdown maintenances report and update daily maintenance/monitoring logbook.
Participating to maintain minimum spares of critical equipment.
Coordinating/working with team/individual for general maintenance notifications in factory.
Executing of maintenance activities as per SAP Notification and as instructed by superior in a timely manner.
Playing active role in equipment qualification at site.
Performs preventative maintenance per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner and documents.
Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, and aprons.
Responsible for proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials, and work area.
Performs machine modification.
Following safety instructions and adherence to safety work permits.
Participating in facility maintenance and ensure presentable area all the time.
Hands on experience of GMP documentation.
Being ready to work in shift as and when required.
Performing all tasks assigned by supervisor.
PREREQUISITE PROFILE
Education: High School
Experience: 5 years experience in Pharma Industries.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong mechanical repair/troubleshooting and metal working skills.
Demonstrate proficiency in Machine Repair, Machine Tool Operations.
Able to work both independently and in a team environment completing objectives efficiently with a sense of responsibility.
Able and willing to work in non-ideal environments such as confined spaces, working at heights, dusty/dirty, and around chemicals.
Understand, practice and enforce safe work practices related to respiratory protection, elevated work platforms, fall protection, control of hazardous energy (Lockout/Tagout procedure), fire protection systems, electrical safety, forklift/hoist operation, welding, cutting, brazing, confined space entry, and PPE.
