Mechanical Technician

Job Purpose:

Responsible for performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance for equipment and machinery to ensure continuous and safe operation in accordance with technical standards and required quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform periodic maintenance for all mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and repair them as quickly as possible.
• Install and dismantle mechanical equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Adjust and inspect mechanical operating systems.
• Adhere to safety and occupational health procedures during work.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports and maintain records of faults and repairs.
• Collaborate with the team to implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Request spare parts and necessary equipment for maintenance execution.
• Ensure that the work environment is clean and safe.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in pump maintenance, water treatment plant equipment, and mechanical maintenance.
• Good knowledge of pumps, gears, valves, and compressors systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical diagrams.
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with occupational safety basics.
