Job Summary:
The Cooperative Training will provide an overview and training in various Engineering functions/verticals, with a primary focus on processes based on a two-month program.
Major Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Trainees will work under the supervision and guidance of respective vertical leaders and will work closely with team leads and supervisors for day-to-day activities as follows:
- Learning various systems and procedures used by these verticals.
- Assisting in preparing weekly/monthly reports/activities, including developing and utilizing databases and various other reports.
- Shadowing and learning from experienced professionals in the field.
- Assisting with day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
- Conducting research and analysis as required.
- Contributing innovative ideas and solutions to ongoing projects.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Students must be in the final stages of graduation.
- Bachelor of Science degree program in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited college or university.
- Students should qualify to undergo the training as part of the university curriculum.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 out of 4 or 4 out of 5.
- Excellent skills in oral and written communication.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Good communication skills; the ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable, maintaining a positive and professional attitude under stress.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Students should be from the core mechanical engineering field.
- Good academic background.
- Basic principles and practices knowledge.
- Problem-solving abilities, data entry and verification skills, and a working knowledge of computers and various software applications.
