Mechanical Engineer - HVAC, Piping & Plumbing (FEED) - Saudi Arabia

A leading Talent Acquisition Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing for FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems during the early design phase of large-scale projects, ensuring they meet project requirements, sustainability goals, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. FEED Development:
   1. Design HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems during the FEED phase of projects.
   2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems into overall project design.
   3. Prepare and review system specifications, calculations, and design documents.
2. System Design & Analysis:
   1. Develop detailed HVAC, piping, and plumbing designs based on project requirements.
   2. Perform system sizing, load calculations, and equipment selection for HVAC systems.
   3. Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
3. Project Coordination:
   1. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (civil, structural, electrical) to ensure smooth integration of systems.
   2. Provide technical support during construction and installation phases, if necessary.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
   1. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including design reports, drawings, and technical specifications.
   2. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates for mechanical systems.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Years of experience in HVAC, piping, and plumbing design, with a focus on FEED development.
3. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, etc.).
4. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, piping networks, and plumbing design standards.
5. Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
